<p>POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide technical engineering support to operations, including the Drilling Supervisor and Senior Drilling Engineer; provide drilling engineering input to develop drilling programs; perform studies and projects in support of well engineering and drilling operations; monitor well performance; research and propose performance improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness; liaise with subcontractors; participate in well- and operations risk assessments and hazard assessments; prepare the formal documentation resulting from any hazard and risk assessments for inclusion in the drilling program for all wells; participate in reviews and evaluations of service contractor HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment and Community) management systems; and utilize the Worldwide Drilling HSEC Management System and provide suggestions for improvement.</p>
<p>REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor&#8217;s or foreign equivalent in Petroleum, Civil or Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years of experience working with onshore drilling rig operations in the Fayetteville Shale, including directional drilling operations with rotary steerable tools, downhole motors, and logging while drilling tools. Experience must also include working with hydraulics, torque, drag analysis, bit selection, casing design and drilling and well design software including daily drilling report systems and the directional planning software Compass.</p>

Summary of Duties:<br />
• Watching and maintaining proper well control characteristics, the rate of fluid circulation, and the preventative maintenance program<br />
• Safely climb on elevated platform to pull tubing or rods from wellbore to perform well service work<br />
• Work rig floors, operating power tongs, lifting tubing or rods into place to be picked up for well servicing job.<br />
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on rig, cleaning, greasing, oil changes and other duties so assigned by rig operator.<br />
• Help rigging up and rigging down of service rig<br />
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience<br />
• Some experience in Well Servicing</p>
<p>CDL Class B License for additional pay/rate</p>
<p>• Must be able to handle standing, bending, reaching for long periods of time.<br />
• Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds<br />

• Derive rock and fluid properties of reservoir zones, based on analysis of laboratory core measurements<br />
• Calibrate well log petrophysical measurements using core and fluid data, utilizing standard petrophysical and geostatistical software and techniques<br />
• Develop models of reservoir mineralogy, hydrocarbon volumetrics, and field definition using petrophysical and 2D/3D mapping and modeling tools<br />
• Design formation evaluation programs, including well logging core, and well testing, tailored to the unique challenges of individual reservoir intervals<br />

<p>Participates in Tier I and II HES audits and monitor status<br />
of pending and resolved recommendations. Conducts routine STOP audits to<br />
support HES principles.</p>
<p>Participates in incident investigations related to<br />
accidents, near misses, and unplanned discharges. Ensure timely preparation of<br />
documentation.</p>
<p>Coordinates proper shipping and/or disposal of hazardous<br />
materials.</p>
<p>Maintains HES plans and procedures (SPCC, Emergency<br />
Response, etc.) by updating documentation and communicating changes.</p>
<p>Qualifications: Computer Proficiencies: Excel, Word, Outlook<br />
required; Access and experience in Database management a plus.</p>
<p>Work Experience: Two years field experience preferred; HES<br />
experience preferred.</p>

Skills are typically acquired through at least 2 years field experience and the completion of an undergraduate degree and completion of 10 weeks of formal training in colloidal and general chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculations, and routine and specialized testing is preferred.<br />
Utilizes knowledge of company products and services in conjunction with experience in drilling fluid technology to optimize service quality.<br />
Demonstrates leadership for Field Service Reps I &amp; II in geographical area and active role in mentoring Field Service Reps I &amp; II.<br />
Based on interpreted results of routine and specialized testing, provides technical guidance to maximize wellbore value.<br />
Complies with health, safety and environmental regulations in all aspects of job performance. Ensures  an adequate inventory of palletized and bulk products are available at the rig site, based on the fluids program and anticipated conditions.<br />
Tracks material usage and maintains record of same for inventory and billing purposes.<br />
Maintains good working relationship with operator&#8217;s representative and rig personnel.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">8. Participate in audits and provide feasible solutions for any deficiencies in a timely manner. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">9. Set an example of living our values by participating in safety meetings, Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program, environmental awareness, diversity awareness opportunities and other activities.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small;">10. Travel throughout western North Dakota &amp; eastern Montana on a regular basis. Routine overnight trips within the area probable to provide support to the asset. Potential travel to other company  locations on a periodic basis.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Degree: Bachelors degree required</span></span></p>
